This autumn, SCA brought together almost 150 alumni in a series of fall engagement events across the country. From New York City to the Bay Area, from Chicago to Washington DC, SCA alums of all ages gathered to reconnect and share stories while enjoying their beautiful urban public lands.

Michael Cronin led SCA Community Crews in Washington, DC throughout 2014 and 2015 before joining SCA’s marketing team in 2016. His field experience provided him with a unique perspective on how to engage youth in an urban area, and he now coordinates SCA service events in DC and other cities across the country. Michael connects with a diverse array of volunteers and sees firsthand the ways in which they are contributing to national conservation efforts.
