This position will work with the Bonners Ferry Ranger District Trails and Recreation crew.  The main duties will be trail reconstruction and maintenance.  This position will work with and around chainsaws, rock drills, blasting, jackhammers, motorized carriers, and mini excavators.  This is not a wilderness trail crew.  Intern must be familiar with motorized equipment, or be willing to learn.  Other duties may include campground and recreation site maintenance, historic building maintenance, and general carpentry.  Intern will learn a great deal about an all around recreation and trails program.
