Join the staff at Natural Bridges National Monument in providing outstanding service to the public and preserving the land entrusted to us. Natural Bridges is home to three of the world’s 10 largest natural bridges, found in meandering canyons where ancient Puebloan people left a remarkable record of their lives. Work consists of staffing the visitor center (50%) where you will be greeting and orienting visitors from around the world, providing them with information and interpretation of the resources found here, and collecting fees. You will also provide a regular overlook, trail, and canyon patrol presence to assist visitors, monitor trail and archeological site conditions, occasionally assisting with resource management and maintenance projects (25%). 20% of your time will be devoted to interpretive programming, including development of a short visitor center patio talk or guided hike. The remaining 5% of your time will be spent working on various special projects.

Compensation amounts:
  • $1,100 - one time RT travel allowance
  • $250 - weekly living allowance
  • Housing
