About the position
We need you! Come help us achieve our developed/dispersed recreation goals for the summer of 2021. This position will aid in all aspects of developed/dispersed recreation, with an emphasis on project work. The project work is a due to a backlog of deferred maintenance…what does that mean? It means you will work along side Forest Service staff to make the SNRA a more beautiful, safe, and enjoyable place to recreate by fixing recreation sites that haven fallen into disrepair. Essentially, fixing and beautifying all the places and facilities that are needed to support recreation on the SNRA (picnic sites, whitewater boat access sites, campsites, trailheads, hot springs facilities, etc). While doing work, you will also assist in visitor contacts and education to help better inform SNRA visitors about how to be good stewards of the land.
