Position ID
Crew will consist of 5 members, 1 ACL and 1 leader. Crew will complete various conservation projects within Chicago Park District natural areas. Activities include using
hand and power tools to complete projects such as: trail/park maintenance; habitat restoration; invasive species removal; herbicide application; and leading stewardship days.

Crew member’s work will focus on projects at the following sites: Hegewisch Marsh, Indian Ridge Marsh, Big Marsh, and Steelworkers Park. The crew will also participate in environmental education workshops, certificate trainings and outdoor recreation.

Schedule: Crew members will be responsible for meeting on site by 7 AM every weekday morning.

Compensation: $15.50 per hour

Conditions of Employment: Beginning on 1/18/22, all new SCA program participants are required to be fully vaccinated. Up to date vaccination is defined as having received a booster shot six months after the Pfizer and Moderna primary series and two months after the Johnson & Johnson primary series.
