Position ID
The Student Conservation Association (SCA) partnering with AmeriCorps to administer the 2019-20 Historic Preservation Corps. This internship provides training and hands-on learning experiences in historic preservation and natural resource stewardship. The internship will begin with a 2-3 week training in late August followed by a 42 week internship at a federal or state partner site (still to be determined) somewhere in the U.S.

Program Details:

  • 2-3 week Training at SCA NH campus beginning August 19th.  
  • 42-43 week placement at a federal or state site in the U.S.
  • Interns will be placed in pairs
  • Interns will assist partners in completing a variety of historic preservation projects on structures, facilities, and/or trails of historical significance.


  • Housing (or monthly housing allowance) 
  • Travel allowance to training and to site
  • $200/week Living Allowance
