Team members will receive certifications and opportunities for future career opportunities in coastal habitat restoration.
The ALCC Program is focused on providing young adults opportunities to grow competitive skills in the field of natural resource management to prepare them to move into jobs with project partners after their term of service. Our partners include federal, state, local, and non-profit environmental agencies. Skills will include hands on conservation service experience, professional development training, and nationally recognized certifications. Service will mostly be outdoors and will sometimes require heavy lifting (~50 lb) and using equipment such as chainsaws and brush cutters. Team members will be supervised in the field by an experienced SCA Crew Leader. All team members are expected to be respectful, on-time, hardworking, and aware of conditions to ensure a safe service environment. SCA is an equal opportunity employer.
