This position will be part of a team assisting in a two-park Resource Management program working in natural resource including the survey and management of invasive plants (20%), collecting, and entering data into park databases and geographic information systems (20%), coordinating and publicizing school and "Working Woodlands" programs, citizen science programs, and public contact (40%), and assisting with other park management and education projects (20%).
Compensation amounts (pre-tax):
– $300 weekly Living Allowance
-$1,050/month Housing Allowance
– $1,100 To/From site travel grant
– Health Insurance offered
– AmeriCorps Education Award: $4,827 (based upon successful completion of the position).
– Eligible for the Public Land Corps (PLC) hiring authority upon successful completion of position (640hrs minimum of service)
