This position is one of two 24 week interns (serving one after the other) tasked to implement Galveston Bay Foundation's Classroom STEM Workshops in schools across the Houston-Galveston region. Interns will learn how to implement up to 10 different classroom workshop topics while gaining training and experience in pedagogy and education practices, local ecosystem knowledge, and future career opportunities. At the end of the internship, they will present a final project as well as assist in training the second intern.
Living Allowance: $520 per week
Commuter Allowance: $80 per week

Training Provided: They will be provided with specific training in pedagogy (classroom management, inquiry, hands-on teaching techniques, differentiation, etc.), program evaluation and data analysis, and GBF Classroom STEM Workshop lessons.
