The intern will assist with all aspects of the NPS cultural resource program at Manzanar National Historic Site in the eastern Sierra Nevada of California. These duties include documentation and monitoring of historic and archaeological sites, stabilization and restoration of historic structures, orchard and vegetation management, GPS and total station mapping, archival research, database management, records management, curatorial processing, and compliance. The intern will have use of a government vehicle for work related travel but must provide their own mode of transportation for getting to-and-from work and for personal time off.
