On September 11th, West Monroe Partners employees will be teaming up with SCA to repair and improve trails in Seattle’s largest urban park, Discovery Park. This park’s diverse habitats provide food and shelter for a variety of birds and wildlife, and an opportunity for local residents to escape their urban lives and enjoy peaceful forests, fields, beaches, and trails. After the service event, employees will gather at Daybreak Star Arts and Cultural Center’s Great Circle for the WMP meeting and picnic.
WHEN: Friday, September 11th, 8:00 am to 11:30 am. After the service project concludes at 11:30, employees will gather on site for the West Monroe Partners Meeting and Picnic from 11:30 am – 5:00 pm.
WHERE: Discovery Park, 3801 Discovery Park Blvd, Seattle, WA 98199. Participants will gather at 8am in the North Parking Lot.
WHAT: Improving trails throughout Discovery Park
BRING WITH YOU: Please bring a reusable water bottle and wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Work gloves, hard hats, and other supplies will be provided.
