Trails Day Service in Challis, ID

Join the Student Conservation Association to celebrate National Trails Day through service in Challis, Idaho!

Operating in their 7th year in partnership with the Salmon-Challis National Forest and the Bureau of Land Management, SCA’s Idaho AmeriCorps Program has contributed over 100,000 hours of volunteer service to public lands surrounding the communities of Salmon, Challis, Leadore, Stanley, and Mackay, Idaho.

Join SCA AmeriCorps members to maintain and restore trails at Dump Hill. Outdoor gear giveaways offered at end of day! 

WHEN: Saturday, June 6th, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

WHERE: Dump Hill, Dump Road Trailhead, Challis, ID 83226 (trailhead located at the end of Dump Road)

WHAT: Trail maintenance and restoration at Dump Hill. Outdoor gear giveaways!

BRING WITH YOU: Wear long pants and work boots and bring a water bottle.

PROVIDED: SCA will provide lunch, snacks, and all tools and training.
