Join Scenic Hudson and SCA’s Hudson Valley Corps to celebrate National Trails Day with a morning of service at Esopus Meadows Preserve. As a result of higher than normal tides, immense snowpack, and heavy rains, popular trails at Esopus Meadows Preserve need some TLC. Help make them shipshape on the day dedicated to celebrating America’s great trail system.
WHEN: Saturday, June 7th, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
WHERE: Esopus Meadows Preserve, 257 River Road, Ulster Park, NY 12487
WHAT: Building and repairing drainages, stepping stones, and waterbars, and installing new signs along the interpretive trail.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a hat, and bring lunch and plenty of water.
