Learn how to maintain the trails in your community! SCA instructors will lead you through a 4-day training to give you the skills you need to not only build and maintain trails, but also manage the volunteers who will help you.
Training includes:
- Introduction to tools, safety procedures, and trail design
- Volunteer Management
- New trail construction, trail maintenance, and structure construction
- bridges

- stone steps
- turnpikes
- switchbacks, and more
Where: The John and Rosemarie Calhoun Family Forest, White Brook Road, Gilsum, NH
When: Tuesday October 8 through Friday October 11; 8:30-4:30
Who: Open to the public, with special focus on Conservation Commissions and local trail organizations. Registration capped at 20!
Cost: Non-refundable registration fee of $100 applies
