***THIS EVENT IS OPEN ONLY TO NESTLÉ EMPLOYEES, FAMILY, AND GUESTS.***
Join Nestlé Waters and SCA on Thursday, August 10th for a park beautification project at Cove Island Park!
Nestlé in the U.S. is hosting #NestleCares, a national day of volunteering across Nestlé’s 120 U.S. hometowns. SCA is proud to be a partner in this endeavor by facilitating opportunities for Nestlé in the U.S. employees, families, and friends to engage in team-based service projects in 9 different cities. These projects will focus on some of the most urgent conservation needs including pollinator habitat restoration and water conservation.
Once an industrial hub through the 19th and early 20th centuries, Cove Island Park now boasts a diverse array of natural wonders and is a popular recreational destination for Stamford residents. Nestlé Waters employees will join SCA volunteers in Stamford to preserve this local sanctuary for future generations to enjoy.
WHEN: Thursday, August 10th, 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Registration & breakfast beginning at 9:00 am.
WHERE: Cove Island Park, Cove Road & Weed Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902
