Service Day with Wildlands Restoration in Boulder, CO

Work day at Anemone Hill

Join the Student Conservation Association and the Wildlands Restoration Volunteers at Anemone Hill in the foothills west of Settlers Park in Boulder, CO. Meet SCA Alum, Greg Jackson, and other SCA alumni and park volunteers as you help restore eroded trails; including an old gullied road, worsened by the flood. Volunteers are completing this project in conjunction with a new loop trail being constructed by Open Space and Mountain Parks.

WHEN: October 4, 8:30 am- 12:30 pm, welcome to stay until 3:30pm

WHERE: Anemone Hill, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Park.

WHAT: We will plant seeds and spread mulch to remove old trail scars, protect habitat and enhance the new trail experience.

WHO:  SCA Alumni & friends. Volunteers must be 12+.

THINGS TO BRING: Clothes for rain or shine, warm and cold. Sturdy shoes. Sunscreen. Sunglasses. Hat.
