The Student Conservation Association (SCA) and Sony have teamed up to ConSERVE NYC!
Tompkins Square Park offers a 10-acre green space and gathering ground for the East Village Community. This park houses playgrounds, basketball courts, and handball courts as well as hosts festivals for the community.
Join SCA and Sony employee volunteers in New York City to restore green space at one of NYC’s parks, Tompkins Square Park.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 15th, 9:00 am -3:00 pm. with three shifts options: 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, or 9am-3pm.
WHERE: Tompkins Square Park, E 10th St, New York, NY 10009.
Additional transportation directions TBA.
WHAT: Volunteers will help to to conserve Tompins Square Park.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. The event will take place rain or shine so please dress for the weather!
PROVIDED: SCA will provide snacks and project supplies for all volunteers.
