Join SCA and MUFG on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH to restore Atlanta’s Chattahoochee River!

Since the establishment of Global Volunteer Month in 2013, MUFG employees all over the world have been working together on initiatives to host local contribution activities. SCA is proud to be a partner in this endeavor by facilitating opportunities for MUFG employees, family, and friends to engage in team-based service projects in 8 different cities. The projects will focus on some of the most urgent conservation needs in underserved urban communities.

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the Chattahoochee River, including its lakes, tributaries, and watershed, for the people and wildlife that depend upon them. MUFG employees will join SCA volunteers in Atlanta to help CRK preserve native habitat along the riverfront for future generations to enjoy.

WHEN: Saturday, February 17th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Registration & breakfast beginning at 9:00 am, kickoff at 9:30. Work will conclude at 12:00 with lunch to follow.

WHERE: Zonolite Park, 1160 Zonolite Place, Atlanta, GA 30306. (Entrance to the park is next to Motorcar Studio and Zone of Light Learning Center. Free parking will be available at Zonolite Park Trail Head.)
