Join Student Conservation Association (SCA) in planting 100 native trees in Hammond on Saturday, April 6th! Planting will take place at Harrison Park in Hammond, IN. This will be SCA’s first tree planting event of the year!
WHEN: Saturday, April 6th 9:00am – 12:00pm CST. Registration beginning at 8:30am, kick-off at 9:00am.
WHERE: Park in the lot at Mason Street and Hohman Ave. Look for the Student Conservation Association work truck and trailer as well as the blue pop up tent!
WHAT: Volunteers will plant, mulch, and water native trees.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
PROVIDED: All project supplies (tools, gloves, etc.) will be provided. Drinking water and coffee will be available throughout the event.
