SCA Day of Service in Oak Lawn, IL

Saturday, June 1, 2019 - June 1, 2019 9:00 am

Please join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in planting 50 native Illinois trees in the Village of Oak Lawn on Saturday, June 1st!

Planting will take place in a neighborhood at the cross streets of 52nd Ave & 100th St in Oak Lawn!


WHEN:  Saturday, June 1st 9:00am – 12:00pm CST. Registration beginning at 8:30am, kick-off at 9:00am.

WHERE:  Park along the streets of 52nd Ave & 100th St. Look for the Student Conservation Association work truck and trailer as well as the blue pop up tent! 

WHAT: Volunteers will plant, mulch, and water native trees.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. 

PROVIDED: All project supplies (tools, gloves, etc.) will be provided. Drinking water will be available throughout the event.
