National Public Lands Day Service with Acterra, Redwood City, California

Join the Student Conservation Association and Acterra to celebrate National Public Lands Day with a morning of service.

Acterra is an environmental nonprofit serving the Silicon Valley by providing people with tangible, hands-on activities they can do to improve the environment. Join other SCA alumni and Acterra volunteers to help restore Stulsaft Park by removing invasive species.

WHEN: Saturday, September 27th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

WHERE: Stulsaft Park, 3700 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94061. We will meet and have orientation at the playground, then head to our designated project areas.

WHAT: Volunteers will be removing invasive plants from ecologically sensitive habitats within the park.

BRING WITH YOU: Bring a reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended).

PROVIDED: Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided.
