Join MUFG PurePoint Financial and the Student Conservation Association (SCA) on Saturday, April 6th to restore Kiest Park in Dallas, TX!
Friends of Oak Cliff Parks, an affiliate with City of Dallas, helps to oversee and care for Oak Cliff Parks in south Dallas. One of Oak Cliff Parks, Kiest Park offers more than 250 acres of outdoor spaces for its community to enjoy. In addition, Kiest Park provides essential habitat for wildlife to thrive within urban areas. MUFG PurePoint Financial and SCA have teamed up with Friends of Oak Cliff Parks to help restore this habitat and outdoor spaces.
WHEN: Saturday, April 6th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
WHERE: Kiest Park, 2179 W Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX 75224.
Carpooling is encouraged. Parking is available at Kiest Park.
WHAT: Volunteers will help with pollinator garden restoration, invasive removal, and litter clean-up.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
PROVIDED: SCA will provide light morning snacks and lunch for all volunteers, as well as reuseable water bottles. Gloves and all project supplies will also be provided.
