Join Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and the Student Conservation Association on Saturday, November 7th to Restore Randall’s Island!
Randall’s Island is a unique park and recreational space situated at the confluence of the East River, the Harlem River, and Long Island Sound in NYC. Easily accessible from Manhattan, Queens, or the Bronx, the island contains over four miles of coastal habitat as well as an apple orchard, oyster gardens, and a working urban farm. MUFG volunteers will help to restore the Randall’s Island wetlands by removing invasive species, laying mulch, and improving waterfront trails.
