Join us as we team up with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day through service and recreation at Schenley Park Skating Rink in Pittsburgh.
Volunteers are invited to attend a morning service project to remove invasive species, and stay for an afternoon of ice skating and other recreational activities. Bring family and friends to join in!
WHEN: Monday, January 19th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
WHERE: Schenley Park Skating Rink, Overlook Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
WHAT:
9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Morning service will include cutting invasive vines and general park clean-up.
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: The afternoon event will include ice skating, a live DJ, refreshments, tabling by community organizations, and other hands-on activities.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and boots if you plan to participate in the morning service project. Lunch will be provided.
