Please join SCA and world-class surfer Lakey Peterson as we keep California’s Huntington Beach in ship-shape at the US Open of Surfing on Saturday, August 4th, from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
We’re asking all our local friends, age 18 and older, to register now for the volunteer beach clean-up project. Meet Lakey and get a free US Open t-shirt, while supplies last.

- 2:30 pm meet-up for sign-in and instructions
- 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm for clean-up project
Where: Meet at the SCA Booth (#113) in the Festival Village
Important: Volunteers must be 18 or older and should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes (no sandals); bring a waterbottle, sunscreen and a hat. Snacks and water will be provided.
