American Express Volunteers Help Clean-Up the Shoreline
American Express and the Student Conservation Association (SCA) team up on Sunday, March 31st to help clean-up Pompano Beach in partnership with American Fisheries Society, Pompano Dive Center, and the NSU Marine Environmental Education Center!
This spring, SCA is hosting projects nationwide to honor Earth Day. With national support from American Express, we are aiming to connect our members, alumni, friends, and partners across the country to create a nationwide network of Earth Month celebrations.
In Fort Lauderdale, American Express employee volunteers will clean-up the shoreline at Pompano Beach.
WHEN: Sunday, March 31st, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Registration beginning at 7:30 am with welcome remarks at 8:00 am.
WHERE: Pompano Beach, 10 N Pompano Beach Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Carpooling and public transit is encouraged. Take public transit to Stop ID: 4066, A1A/Atlantic B (N). Parking available at the beach and along street; parking fees may be required.
WHAT: American Express employee volunteers will help to clean-up the beach and waterways at Pompano Beach.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
PROVIDED: Gloves and all project supplies will be provided.
