Fall Trails Workshop

Saturday, September 13, 2014 - September 14, 2014 4:30 pm

Gain the skills to create and maintain trails in your community! Join us at the John and Rosemarie Calhoun Family Forest in Gilsum, NH on September 13 and 14.

This workshop for local groups and land trust volunteers will feature:

  • introduction to tools and safety procedures
  • instruction on trail design, construction and maintenance
  • construction of structures such as turnpikes and stone steps
  • volunteer management

When: Sat-Sun; Sept 13-14, 9:00 – 4:30 each day

Where: John and Rosemarie Calhoun Family Forest, Route 10, Gilsum, NH

What: Bring these skills back to your community to facilitate your own trail projects.
