Come celebrate Earth Day with the Student Conservation Association and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy through a day of service at Southside Park. Volunteers will work to improve the health of this public green space by clearing invasives, removing litter, and maintaining trails at the Bandi Shaum Community Garden.
WHEN: Saturday, April 25th, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Southside Park, Bandi Shaum Community Garden, Mission Street & S. 18th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
WHAT: Clearing invasives, removing litter, and maintaining trails at the Bandi Shaum Community Garden.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers.
PROVIDED: SCA will provide lunch for all volunteers, as well as reusable water bottles and Earth Day t-shirts!
