Earth Day Service at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia, PA

Come celebrate Earth Day with SCA and the National Park Service through a day of service at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. Volunteers will pitch in to help with the annual waterfront clean-up along Darby Creek.

WHEN: Saturday, April 18th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, Visitor Center, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19153. 

WHAT: Removing trash and debris as part of the annual waterfront clean-up along Darby Creek.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. Please bring a reusable water bottle.

PROVIDED: SCA will provide water, snacks, and Earth Day t-shirts!
