CANCELLED: ConSERVE Houston: Earth Day at Herman Brown Park

Come celebrate Earth Day with SCA and Houston Parks and Recreation with a day of service at Herman Brown Park. Volunteers will work to improve the health of this public green space by planting native trees and removing invasive species. In partnership with the National Environmental Education Foundation, SCA will host a series of service projects throughout the Houston area over the next six months. Come join us! 

WHEN: Saturday, April 18th, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Herman Brown Park, 400 Mercury Drive, Houston, TX 77013. You’ll see the SCA event registration table and welcome booths table near the main parking lot.

WHAT: Volunteers will plant new trees and remove invasive species.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, preferably hiking or work boots. Also please bring a water bottle that can be refilled. Snacks as well as all project materials for volunteers will be provided.
