Earth Day Service at Kickapoo Woods in Chicago, IL

Come celebrate Earth Day with SCA and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County through a day of service at Kickapoo Woods. Volunteers will restore this public green space by clearing invasive species and removing litter as part of the Litterati Project.

WHEN: Saturday, April 18th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Kickapoo Woods, 14498 S. Halsted Street, Riverdale, IL 60827. See directions.

WHAT: Clearing invasive species and removing litter as part of the Litterati Project.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear closed-toe shoes, canvas pants or jeans, and long sleeves, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Please bring a reusable water bottle.

PROVIDED: SCA will provide water, snacks, and Earth Day t-shirts!
