Earth Day Service at Stulsaft Park, Redwood City, CA

Sunday, April 19, 2015 - April 19, 2015 9:00 am

Come celebrate Earth Day with the Student Conservation Association, Acterra and the City of Redwood City through a day of service at Stulsaft Park. Volunteers will work to beautify and restore this city park through clearing invasives, removing litter, constructing new trail, monitoring stream water quality and removing social trails around the park.

WHEN: Sunday, April 19th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Stulsaft Park, 3737 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94061. The park does not have its own parking lot. Volunteers should look for event signs and park along the neighborhood streets.

WHAT: Clearing invasives, removing litter, constructing new trail and removing social trails around the park.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers. Bring a reusable water bottle and comfortable layers. Long sleeves and clothing that can get dirty is recommended.

PROVIDED: Coffee, snacks and Earth Day t-shirts!
