This April, SCA is hosting 60 projects for Earth Day in honor of 60 years of SCA!
With national support from Exelon, we are aiming to connect our members, alumni, friends, and partners across the country to create a nationwide network of Earth Month celebrations.
Join SCA to help restore Memorial Park as part of our Hurricane Harvey Recovery. Volunteers in partnership with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department will help bring Memorial Park back to its beautiful natural state by planting native trees and removing litter and storm debris.

WHEN: Saturday, April 14th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Memorial Park, 6501 Memorial Drive, Houston TX 77007
WHAT: Volunteers will help to restore Memorial Park as part of the Harvey Recovery effort by planting native trees, removing invasive species, and clearing litter and storm debris.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring extra layers and a reusable water bottle.
PROVIDED: SCA will provide snacks for all volunteers, as well as work gloves and all project supplies!
