BALTIMORE, MD: SCA Earth Day at Herring Run Park

This April, SCA is hosting 60 projects for Earth Day in honor of 60 years of SCA

With national support from Exelon, we are aiming to connect our members, alumni, friends, and partners across the country to create a nationwide network of Earth Month celebrations.

In partnership with Friends of Herring Run Parks, volunteers in Baltimore will participate in a stream cleanup, invasive species removal, and planting project. Join us to ConSERVE Baltimore and preserve its natural beauty for future generations to enjoy!


WHEN: Saturday, April 14th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm 

WHERE: Herring Run Park, 3501 Shannon Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213 (intersection of Brehms Lane and Shannon Drive)

WHAT: Volunteers will participate in a stream cleanup, invasive species removal, and planting project. 

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. The event will take place rain or shine so please dress for the weather!

PROVIDED: All project materials, tools, and gloves will be provided.
