Join the Student Conservation Association’s Hudson Valley Corps and the Trailside Museums and Zoo to celebrate Earth Day at Bear Mountain State Park! Earth Day at Bear Mountain is a day of family-friendly activities intended to foster environmental awareness related to local wildlife, human impacts on the environment, and much more. Visitors encounter stations along the trail providing educational experiences and information. Volunteers will provide education at these stations.
Volunteer opportunities are limited to SCA members or current volunteers of the Trailside Museums and Zoo. However, all members of the public are invited to come participate in the day’s activities!
WHEN: Saturday, April 22nd, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
WHERE: Bear Mountain Trailside Museums and Zoo, Seven Lakes Parkway, Bear Mountain, NY 10911. RSVP for exact meeting location.
WHAT: Earth Day celebrations and family-friendly environmental education activities.
BRING WITH YOU: Come dressed in your SCA and/AmeriCorps apparel and bring your own reusable water bottle.
