Earth Day Project at Lake Houston Wilderness Park, Houston, TX

Join the Student Conservation Association along with City of Houston Parks and Recreation for an Earth Day service event at Lake Houston Wilderness Park.

Volunteers will be creating new trail around Lake Isabel, inserting new benches in new trail, opening trails to the lake for fishing access, putting up bat boxes and bird houses, and developing picnic areas.

WHEN: Saturday, April 12th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

WHERE: Lake Houston Wilderness Park, 25840 FM 1485, New Caney, TX 77357

WHAT:  Improving trails, putting up bat boxes and birdhouses, developing picnic areas.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

PROVIDED: Lunch, water, snacks, swag.
