Earth Day Project at Whistler Woods, Chicago, IL

Join the Student Conservation AssociationFriends of the Parks, and The Forest Preserves of Cook County to celebrate Earth Day at Whistler Woods. From 9:30 am to 11:30 am, volunteers will engage in invasives removal and litter clean-up. From 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, environmental education activities will be offered including bike building and riding, nature hikes, and textile and electronic recycling.

WHEN: Saturday, April 26th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

WHERE: Whistler Woods, 678 W 134th Street, Riverdale, IL 60827.

WHAT: Stewardship and environmental education activities.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
