Crosscut Saw Workshop

Tuesday, October 14, 2014 - October 16, 2014 4:30 pm

Dolly Chapman has been working with crosscut saws for the U.S. Forest Service for many years and is an expert at sharpening and tuning crosscuts.  Recently retired, Dolly is excited to share her expertise, experience and vast knowledge of crosscuts with anyone who is interested. This class will focus on sharpening, tuning and overall maintenance and care for crosscut saws.

Participants are required to bring their own vise for holding the saw. SCA will send out plans to build your own vise once your registration is complete. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own files and crosscut saws if possible.
