Join the Student Conservation Association as we team up with New York State Parks for a day of service at Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx.
Roberto Clemente State Park offers a 25-acre waterfront space along the Harlem River in the Bronx. With sports fields, playgrounds, and a waterfront promenade, the park has been part of continued efforts to revitalize the waterfront of the Harlem River. To prepare for the opening ceremony of neighboring Bridge Park, volunteers will remove invasives and clear debris to get Roberto Clemente ready for the spring season.
WHEN: Saturday, February 7th, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm
WHERE: Roberto Clemente Park, 301 W. Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10453. (Metro North to Morris Heights, or 4 train to 176th Street.)
