Join SCA as we gather to ConSERVE NYC this MLK Day by mobilizing the next generation of community stewards to help restore our public lands.

With the support of American Express, we will be bringing together hundreds of volunteers to restore native forest in Morningside Park. Join us to honor the legacy of Dr. King and connect the issues of social and environmental justice as we transform this critical community green space in Harlem.

WHERE: Morningside Park, Manhattan Ave & 112th Street, New York, NY 10026 (1/B/C trains to 110th St Cathedral Parkway)

WHAT: Volunteers will transform this important community green space in Harlem by restoring native forest and combatting invasive species and soil erosion.

BRING WITH YOU: Wear long pants and sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring extra layers as the event will take place in any weather! Please also bring your own water bottle for staying hydrated.
