Join SCA to help restore Blackhawk Park as part of our Hurricane Harvey Recovery!
Volunteers in partnership with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department will help bring the park back to its beautiful natural state by removing invasive plant species that have encroached since the storm.
WHEN: Saturday, March 17th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Blackhawk Park, 9401 Fuqua Street, Houston, TX 77075
WHAT: Volunteers will help to restore Blackhawk Park by removing invasive plant species that have encroached since the storm.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring extra layers and a reusable water bottle.
PROVIDED: SCA will provide snacks for all volunteers, as well as work gloves and all project supplies!
