Additional Info:

  • Important: SCA and DPS are aware of the recent upsurge in West Nile virus cases in Texas. While Brazoria County has had no reported cases – and the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge has had no problems with mosquitos – we are taking precautions to minimize the risk of bites. Approved insect repellant will be available at the event site. We also urge volunteers to dress in long sleeves and long pants. And, for extra protection, we recommend spraying thin clothes with repellant.
  • Directions: From the intersection of S.H. 288 and S.H. 35 (Angleton, Texas): Go west on S.H. 35 approximately 5 miles, turn right (north) on S.H. 521. Go one mile to Sally Lake Rd., turn right and veer left to gate entrance about .2 miles.

Please RSVP online.
