Wilderness Ranger Corps – What a Summer!

•

The 2013 Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie Wilderness Ranger Corps has come to its conclusion. After meeting with the Forest Service we can confidently say that it was an extremely successful season. We Hiked over 500 miles on 57 trails (and hundreds more off-trail) inventorying eight Wilderness areas and assessing 819 campsites. We met all of our goals regarding conservation, stewardship, leadership and service. We also had tons of fun. This summer’s experiences will undoubtedly be with us for the rest of our lives. We became good friends and furthered the personal and professional goals of each member and the crew as a whole. We all hope to continue to work in the outdoors and have opportunities that provide meaningful, lasting fulfillment, such as we experienced this summer. Thank you for all of the support we received and happy trails. Check out our interactive map at http://www.google.com/maps/ms?vps=2&ie=UTF8&hl=en&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=211050262609568659160.0004e6eaa5f072948b917
