We get to spend the next three weeks in Yampa, Colorado. The next project was to create a buffer zone between the forest and private land. The forest service and a local rancher came to an agreement so we could use a short cut to the project site. It was long days and hard work, but the local fire chief and the forest service invited us to BBQ’s so needless to say we’re happy to help. We all get the opportunity to float the Yampa river, and camp at the flat tops area. Biggest perk was the use of a brand new fire house, and getting in the newspaper was a nice thank you for the hard work.
