Thank you! We made it…and it’s all because of you. With your support, we were able to meet our fiscal-year end goal. This means that in the next year, your support will help ensure that even more young people can be a vital part of our legacy to protect, conserve and maintain our nation’s parks and public lands. Because of you, vital conservation projects will now be funded. Some of these projects include:
- In Arizona, Veteran’s Fire Corps teams are ready to get to work preparing and helping forests, parks and refuges to avoid another summer wildfire season.
- In San Mateo County, California, an SCA intern is using GIS mapping to help create the county’s first natural resource database.
- In Pittsburgh, a team of SCA interns are helping to write the city’s Climate Action plans and working with businesses and non-profits to ensure they meet the goals.
- In New York City, youth crews are working year-round to ensure that parks, communities, waterways and habitats are able to handle future effects of climate change and insurgent weather patterns.
Because of you, we know we will engage more than 8,000 people in providing more than 1.5 million service hours to conserve our planet and make a lasting and meaningful impact to both lives and land. Thank you!
