From the Highest Peak to the Lowest Tide Pools with SCA Sara Gabel
As an SCA Centennial Volunteer Ambassador, I help the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area accomplish its mission and goals by working to increase volunteerism and stewardship at the the park. I have always loved being outside, and it is my passion to get people as excited about the outdoors as I am! Once you are out there, you will realize the amazing power of Nature, the different energies it can help you can experience, and the incredible diversity of species and landscapes it has to offer.
Click “play” to join me on an adventure up to Sandstone Peak, the highest in the Santa Monica Mountains (3114 ft), and down through the tide pools at Leo Carillo State Beach. When I made this video to for the #FindYourPark Campaign, my hope was to showcase how much fun you can have with a few friends, a trail, and a cellphone camera! See you on the trail! — Sara
