After serving as a SCA and AmeriCorps member in Tahoe over the summer I knew I wanted to continue being a part of the team. I am excited to start a new journey with the Restoration Corps. I am originally from the small town of Bishop in California and that will always be home to me, but I thoroughly enjoy traveling and getting to explore new places. I recently finished an internship in Lake Tahoe participating in human-bear management. I was able to lead campfire programs every weekend and assist in the capture and translocation of a Black Bear. I can’t wait to enhance my backcountry skills while learning and meeting plenty of new people.
