Hello, my name is Tishena Gillis and I’m a junior at the University of West Georgia, in Carrolton Georgia. I’m an English Major and a Spanish minor, but conservation and environmental stewardship have always been my passions. My experience ranges from working in state parks, national parks, and wildlife refuges all across the county to formalizing presentations to promote energy reduction practices.
Some of my hobbies include kayaking, camping, and hanging out with family and friends. I am driven most by my deep desire to preserve the world and all its natural beauties for many generations to come, and also getting everyone I know in love with mother earth. And by working help people achieve this goal as well as work with people who have the same aspirations as me.
