After serving in the weeklong SCA alternative spring break trip this past March, I am choosing to further my ties with the environment as well as the SCA by joining the 2013 Desert Restoration Crew and am extremely excited. I was born and raised in a suburb just north of Chicago called Evanston and recently graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana this past May. I am really looking forward to an exciting 10 months in the deserts of California and can’t wait to get started.
