Megan Davis @ Higher Education Climate Consortium

Megan is a long time Pittsburgher who graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 with a BA in Anthropology and Certificate in African Studies. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management. She came to SCA Green Cities Corps to work with the Higher Education Climate Consortium, which was started as part of the Pittsburgh Climate Initiative, and entails bringing together diverse colleges and universities in the Greater Pittsburgh region to work together toward the goal of becoming more sustainable. Her previous experience includes interning in a Pennsylvania Senator’s office and working as a caseworker providing resources and support to local community members. Megan survived the Rachel Carson Challenge of 2012 and spends her free time gardening in her back yard, attending the Pittsburgh Banjo Club rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, and cooking tasty food for friends.
